Our goal
is to teach students to speak foreign languages, to make to be
opened for the world, to give them possibility to work with political,
science and art literature, we try to make all possible for forming
student outlook.

For this
we use Ukrainian books and books and books printed in Russia,
UK, USA and German as well.
|
|
English
is compulsory subject in our school, and French or German are
second foreign languages by choise, Latin and Esperanto are optional
courses. Students participation in international projects encourages
them to study foreign languages.

Department
organizes language competitions, translation of poetry, parties
on foreign languages for different level of students. Our students
take an active part in science - theoretic conferences.

Methods
of studying foreign languages in lyceum is rather different from
the secondary and special schools. First of all we study some
foreign languages in lyceum. The second, the aim if studing has
communicative and informative character. Classical Latin is a
basic of comparing linguistic, and it makes an acquaintance with
source of Greek and Rome orator skill, with representatives of
ancient philosophy schools. Esperanto is a language which develops
logic and encourages student to continue studying Esperanto.
