The basic task
of the department is to create favorable conditions for all-round
development of intellectual and creative abilities of children
and to prepare them for study in the Lyceum.
|
| |
The main problem,
for the primary school, is the problem of succession in education,
correcting the programs of the new subjects appeared in the Lyceum,
and forecasting of the further work with gifted children.
|
|
|
| |
Certainly, the teachers
of the primary school realize, that the initial developing education
is an indivisible system. Therefore it is important to inculcate
own elaborations and innovations in the work of primary school.
Using didactic principles of sequence combination of separate
themes and sections of the program is a tested method of training.
|
| |
In particular,
at the primary school where enough hours are alloted to the development
of colloquial speech of the pupils it is expedient to group such
lessons not spontaneously and in indivisible system. Such program
of development of colloquial speech of the younger pupils has
been composed by Lukianchuk N.V.
|
| |
The alternative
textbooks always facilitate work of teachers, but what if the
textbook doesn't exist at all? The absence of textbooks in primary
classes causes the waste of time during the lesson and a lot of
writing of the new material.
|
| |
As usual there
are a lot of spelling mistakes in such records, handwriting of
child is spoilt, and pupils not always correctly write down the
information dictated by the teacher.
The teachers of the primary school prepare the materials and publish
the textbooks.
The department was the first in Ukraine to inculcate 'Bases computer
literacy' for pupils of the 2-nd - 3- d forms.
During such lessons the pupils receive not only knowledge how
to work with computer and applied programs, but also receive the
basic knowledge of computer structure, about informatics, information
and its coding, about algorithms.
|
| |
As experience
shows, the cooperation with High schools is effective not only
for the senior forms.
The program of the integrated course 'Foreign literature and Countries,
customs, traditions' has been created by Matusevich E.I. together
with the Linguistic University.
She has created the methodical grant for teachers, where she has
collected interesting and necessary information on geography,
history, life and customs of the people of the country.
On the other hand the analysis of fairy tales and pieces of art
has been conducted in this grant.
|
| |
Such system justifies
itself, because the teacher of primary school has an opportunity
to test the methodical achivements, to analyze the successes and
failures, to improve the methods of education.
