      The Russian language and foreign literature department sets such tasks in its work as:

1. To give the pupils on idea about the world literature process, to show the history, general regularities and national peculiarities of the development: to get to know the works of different genres which represent general literature tendencies of different epochs and countries, characterize general regularities and tendencies of the literature process of different historical periods.

2. To inculcate in pupils the skills of literature analisis, to show out its essence, tasks and to teach them how to work on their own with a text. To use a reach form of education in history and criticism of literature, to develop pupils creative adilities. To promote personal compehention of art work.

3. To discover a beauty of poetry, to help student's understanding of moral and aesthetic values which are in the world poerty, to promote their deriving of aesthetic pleasure from art works and teach them to understand what it caused by.

4. To promote the development of students creative potential, personal abilities.

         In a process of art works analyzing a complicated task complex, which is connected with ideological aesthetic and moral education, is solved. Therefore one of the most important tasks is an education of new generation with high cultural and studying basis of versification pupils do their attempts of their own poetic work, practicing their poetic skills. The department has an original methodic works of lessons, literary and versification are created by department's teachers.

 

        Two literary miscellanies were put out. Different supplementary books, distributing material, visual aids and rare publication, gramophone record library, that helps to vary forms of pupils material perception, are used in a studying process. The teachers of the department practice thematic integrate lessons, lessons in museums, watching films and plays.
