          The "East-West'' project

           It is our very first project. The project "East-West'' passed in 1993-1997, with the aim promote the European integration through national definitions. It should make the own contribution to the international commonwealth and to ensure intellectual mutual understanding between the schoolboys and the teachers at present Europe in the name of the European commonwealth of the nearest future.

 

  The countries-partners: The Netherlands, Denmark, Greek, Hungary, Scotland, Italy, Bulgaria, Russia, Romania, Poland, Slovakia, Ukraine - and Lyceums and secondary schools of the 13 European countries.

Brief chronology:

1993.   January.   The Netherlands.   A conference of managers of educational institution EWP.
  Spring.   Denmark.   An exchange of the teachers.
  Autumn.   Ukraine.   A reception of the organizers of the Project.
1994.   Spring.   The Netherlands.   An exchange of the teachers.
  Autumn.   Hungary.   A working conference of managers of educational institutions and coordinators of the Project.
1995.   Spring.   Denmark.   An exchange of the pupils. Topic: "Nationalism and Democracy." Work in the international class.
  Autumn.   Greece.   An exchange of the pupils. Topic: "Culture of epochs, it importance in the modern world."
1996.   Spring.   The Netherlands.   An exchange of the pupils. Topic: "National and foreign literature."
  Summer.   Ukraine.   An exchange of the teachers from Greece.
  Autumn.   Poland.   An exchange of the pupils. Topic: "Modern ecology and economy."
1997.   Spring.   Ukraine.   An exchange of the pupils. Topic: "Man. Ecology. Life."
  Summer.   Romania.   A final conference of the managers of the educational institution and the coordinators of the project. Working cut the second stage of the project.
  Autumn.   Romania.   An exchange of the pupils. Topic: "National Traditions and their influence on young generation."
        

       Term of study in the international class - one week per one half-year simultaneously (at the same time) on the basis of Lyceums and gymnasiums of three countries-participants (EWP).

        There are 140 teachers, 480 pupils, 280 families have been taking part for 5 years.
