The Ukrainian-Italian cultural and educational project.

          Our Lyceum and both educational institutions from small Italian town Margarita di Savoya: scientific Lyceum "A. Moro" and media-school "G. Pascoli" are taking part in this project.

 

                         

The purpose:
 
       The Ukrainian-Italian project, firstly, enables the students and the teachers of our educational institutions to exchange some useful and necessary information with their colleagues; and secondly, furthers international cooperation and popularization of international mutual understanding among the students and the teachers of Europe nowadays; and to the Benefit of the future of democratic Europe.

The subjects and the contents of the Project:
        The main and, so to say prevalent idea of the whole exchange is "National peculiarities and European integration"

 
 

The points of the main direction of exchange are:

1.National culture and modern life.
2. History and democracy. National minorities.
3. European languages.
4. Engineering nowadays and if future (mathematics, computer science)
5. Market and environment

These points embrace certain branches of national culture, traditions, customs, festivals and art, music, dances, religion as well. They include branches of Modern History and development of democracy. These points also require of using foreign languages: official national languages (Italian, Ukrainian), international language (English), one of some classical languages (Latin).
Discussed items touch such branches of science as mathematics, computer science, and their role in the modern life and in the Future. These points contain the certain branches of ecology, biology, chemistry and economy.

 
Form and content of the trip:
          An exchange is carried out twice a year: In Spring the Italians welcome our delegation and in autumn our Lyceum play host to the delegation from Margarita. Each delegation consists of 6 teachers and 30 students. Each day of stay, under the aegis of the project, is divided into three equal parts: school hours, cultural program or participation in sports measures and free time. The exchange has been proceeding for 10-14 days. English as means of intercourse and teaching.
