The theme of the lesson: "Andersen's fairy world"
Copenhagen - the capital of Denmark

Dereloping Aims:

To enlarge children's outlook about different countries in the world. To show the pupils the sights of the capital of Denmark and Andersen's creation works. To build up the skill for analysing a fair-tale(describing the characters, the plot, the idea and artistic means). To bring up consideration, wish to come for help.

National flag of Denmark; dolls in the national dresses; video tape(cassete); magic box; raincoat; top-hat.

The teacher’s narration.

-Today we are going to visit the capital of Denmark –Copenhagen, the history of the city counts about 30 years. In translation “Copenhage” means “Trade port”.

 Let’s go for a short tour about the city. We‘ve stopped nearthe Town Hall. There is an original termometr at the top of the Town Hall. The girls figure ridding a lice appears when it’s sunny but when it rains you can see this pretty figure with an umbrella in her hand.

 This Town Hall is situated at the square named after great fairy – taller H. Anderson. There is a monument to H. Ch. Andersen near the Town Hall. Every tourist considers to be his duty to visit the monument to the greatest teller. What do you think, why?

2.     “Journey” to the fairy-tale.

The teacher’s narration.

 Once upon a time in one of the yaras in a poor area of Copenhagen the dirty things while her son was playing with such toy-tin soldier with one leg only.

 Suddenly some tall thin man worn on a black cloak

“Do you know who it is, my son?” –asked the mother.

“No, don’t”

He’s C.Ch. Andersen. You go to bed listening to his fairy-tales every evening.

The boy jumped up seized the toy-tin soldier, ran down Anderson, cramed (squeezed) his toy into tale-teller’s hand and ran home back, no looking round. Then Andersen undeached his list and realized the boy had given him what he hold dearest of all. The teller hasn’t forgotten this present. He has repayed the boy , presented him and all of us the beautiful fairy-tale “The Steadfast Soldier”.

3.     Fairy-Quiz

Today we are going to visit some fairy-tales. There are some characters from these fair-tales in my magic box. Guess and name the charecters.

 And now we’ll try to understand what’s happening with the little girl? Who is more than one inch.

 Another girl also feels miserable (unhappy). She has a lot of problems.

V. Dramatization the fairy-tale “The Litlle Mermaid” (“The L.M.“ staging)

The bronze Mermaid huged the stones near the bank of the river Eresun, the main character os Andersen’s fairy-tale, become the symbol and practically the second Emblem of Copenhagen

1)    Why hasn’t Mermaid killed the Prince?

2)    What does that feature(streak) mean?

3)    Which Characters of Andersen’s fairy-tales do take after Little Mermaid?

 

VI. So we have refreshed some of the Andersen’s tales.

1)    Tell us who were the main characters? (Mermaid, the toys, the alire tale personages)

2)    And now we’ll watch one more tale and after reviewing it tell us, who the main character of it is?
