"The Principles of computer Literacy"(PCL)

Form 2. (1 hour a week)

 

1. Subject PCL, its aims and tasks. Keeping office regulations and safety engineering in the computer science specialized room. Personal Computer, its components and destination. First - hand view of keys cursor control, with key date. Using this keys playing on computer games.

 

2 hours.

2. Peripheral devices. Discussing and demonstration potentialities of (capabilities inherent in) modern computer. A glimpse of computer creation and development history[IBM]. Working on computer games.

2 hours.

3. Information. Information in our life around us. How do people obtain the information? Working on a program "Let's build the city".

 

2 hours.

4. What can a person do with the information? Roud-up principal informatic proceses: receiving, saving, transfering, ciding, handling, reusing of information. Working on a program "Casper".

2 hours.

5. Conducting lesson for the First Quarter. Review lesson. Recapitulation and confirmation of learned material. The creatire - works exhibition on theme "We - the future life creators". Work on Ukrainian training-checking program.

6. Saving of information. Fixing data. Data holding. Memory. Working on a program "Built the house".

7. Transfering data. Which devices can transfer the information? Keyboard and its components. Working on a training simulator.

8. Coding data. Working on a training simulator.

9. Haudling data. Processor. Working on a training simulator.

10. Correction pupils skills and abilities. The First Term Test Work. Working on a maths checking program.

11. Safety engineering working on SER. Files, name of files. Directories, subdirectories, disk divices. IBM loading. Working on a maths training-checking program.

12. Looking through the directory. Panels switching. Disk divices switching and start programs. Working on a maths training-checking program. 1(t/p).

13. Study driving regulations by means of an educational program "Driver".

14. Types of the sentences with the object of expression. Imperative sentences. Idea of instructions(commands). Work on Ukrainian training-checking program.

15. The commands and executors. Demands of commands. Ways of recording commands. A didactic game "Executor", executor "Loader". Work on program "Cargo". (single-step mode).

16. Conception of algorithm. Steps of algorithm are commands to an executor. Work on program "Cargo" (single-step mode). Checking up mental arithmetic skills. Working on a maths training-checking program.

17. Types of texts. Text - instruction. Making the simpliest algorithms. Work on program "Cargo" (programming mode).

18. Algorithmical exercises. "Hanoi Tower". Work on program "Hanoi Tower".

19. Recapitulation and confirmation of learned material. Test Work. The school year concluding lesson.

2. Algorythm. Algorythm etudes(Review). Work with keyboard trainer.

3. Executor "Kangaroo" its system of commands
Work with the program "Roo"

4. Cycles (Creation of programes with cycles for executor "Kangaroo". Work with the program "Roo")

5. Branching. Algorithm of vague division

1 hour.

6. Editors. Text editor, its destination.The main methods of introduction of texts
Capital and small letters, punctuation marks, passing to a new line, keys of moving of cursor (Ukrainian, Russian, English, regime of work).

7. Types of texts and means of their introduction on the screen. Title. Paragraph. Methods of redacting of a text(with drawal of symbols, words, lines, regime of settings in and substitution; settings of free the line)
Practical work on creation and edition of the text. Recording of the text to the disk and reading text from the disk.

8. Creative work. Text - translation. Vers - text. Composing of letter, application. Preparation of Editor for function: insertion of necessary regime, installation of the length of the line, types of division into syllables

9. Lesson - generalization of the theme "Text Editor". Typing of the text.

10. Musical editor, its destination. Creation editing and execution of actions in musical editor.

 

2 hours.

11. Symmetry. Kinds of symmetry. Development of creative gifts, skills in drawing. Work with programme "Mozaik".

 

2 hours.

12. Graphic Editor, its destination. … with graphic editor "Kaleidoskope". Rules of work with it.

13. Construction of geometrical figures with the help of stretches. Creation of drawings.

 

2 hours.

14. Creation of a drawing with the help of circles.

1 hour.

15. Creation of a drawing with the help of geometry figures.

1 hour.

16. Composition of computer fairy - tale. Creation of symmetrical ornaments

17. Summing up lesson of material of the year. Work with dveloping programes.

5 Form (1 hour a week)

 

1. Rules of behaviour and Labour Safety during work in classroom for computer science. Information and Lesson Review of skills in work with keyboard.

2. Basis of systematic work (directories, subdirectories, search and call of necessary programme, switching over of wainscots and disc annexes - Review). Test programme "Memory"

 

1 hour.

3. Executors and algorythms. Programme "Pusher"

1 hour.

4. Executors "Tortoise" and its system of commands in Lego Language system. Place of finding. Work with executor in direct regime with usage of angles 90 and 180 grades. Command Color.

2 hours.

5. Angles and their size. Teaching - controlling programme "Angles, their types and measurement". Work with executor in direct regime with usage of unrestricted angels.

 

2 hours.

6. Creation of drawings with the help of executor "Tortoise".

2 hours.

7. AcQuaintance with the work of executor "Tortoise" in programme regime. Composition of cyclic algorythms.

8. Summing up Lesson based on the material of the first term.

9. Work with graphic editor "Picture Maker"(field, instruments, palette, commands of menue). Creation of drawings. Testing lesson.

 

10 hours.

10. Use of calculation technics in activity of my parents and acquaintances(reports). Work with logical, teaching and controlling programmes(Fox hunter 4*4, "Field of Miracles", "Blockhead", "Perenos", "Imennik", "Pusher", "Dekart and others")

6 Form (1 hour a week)

 

1. Rules of behaviour and labour safety in work in classroom for computer science. Main systems of work. Review of skills of work with keyboard.

2. Executor "Tortoise" and its system of commands (Review). Cycles(Review).

3. Inserted cycles

4. The simplest procedures. Algorythms with several procedures.

5. Testing lesson

6. Sizes. Procedures with one or several sizes.

7. Sizes in a cycle.

8. Summing up lesson based on material of the first term

9. Work with text editor "Multi Edit"(review of the main methods of creation and edition of text, installation of the text on a disk, reading from the disk: command Undo, detachment of the text, work with blocks using of buffer, work with windows, search and change). Testing lesson.

 

 

10 hours.

10. Computer and future(fantasies on theme). Work with logical, teaching and controlling programmes("Go - moku", "Bulls & Cows", "Fox hunter 8*8", "IQ", "Pusher" and others.)
