In autumn 2001 students of Lyceum #38 after V.Molchanov from Kiyv their
friends from german town Lobenshtain. Cultural-educational programme was
very interesting. Students of Lyceum had a chance to participate in
    different language programmes.

    There were attending lessons, discussions,
communication in German familias, cultural ptogramme. Ukrainian students and
teachers were greatly impressed by lessons of music, computer science,
geography which were showed by German teachers. Students and teachers were
real friends and the atmosphere was friendly and informal.

    Our students took
an active part in those lessons and had a great pleasure. That programme gave
an opportunity to get to know the political and cultural life of Turingia.
We visited the House of Government in Etfurt and country house, we tried to
cook pizza ourselves, painted silk headscarves and saw ancient things.

But the culmination point of our visiting of German was the final concert
in restorered old castle. Kiyv students took part in that concert together
with the Choir and Orchestra of German Gimnasium. Mayor of Lobenshtain
Sir Peter Orel was at that concert me presented the symbol of the city,
little dog Loby, to each participante of the concert.

Now Ukrainian students are looking forward to meeting their German friends
    in Kiyv, in spring 2002.
